OBJECTIVE:

Exploring the role of rituals in spirituality.

ONSTAGE:

Our LINGUIST EXPERTS describe their myths while our KINETIC SCIENTISTS perform an appropriate ritual.

INTERACTIVE:

The FRINGE SCIENTISTS are asked to create a simple ritual that can be performed on our patients. Acknowledging a higher power by kneeling, praying, lighting sage or incense, and trying to bring their patient to a moment of clarity or catharsis through movement and dance. E.g. whirling dervish. At the end we ask them to perform an initiation ritual to mark their patient’s transition into adulthood by completing a challenge (stage diving?) or enduring some pain (eating a chilli?).
