ADDICTION EXPERIMENT: MOVIN' THE HYPE TRACK

OBJECTIVE:

Testing the patient’s reaction to societal addiction.

 

ONSTAGE:

Our KINETIC SCIENTISTS re-enact an allegory of societal addiction, in this case our dependence on oil. Dressed in Sci Fi clothes they share their favourite oil beverage, but when it runs out their warm smiles are replaced with warm ray gun blasters pointing at eachother for the last remaining drops in the can. A choreographed war dance breaks out between the fighting parties until one escapes  the stage into the crowd on the dancefloor with the last oil can in her ‘spaceship’ (by sitting on the shoulders of someone wearing a spaceship costume). The other attackers jump on their spaceships and launch a full laser gun dogfight running around the dancefloor above the heads of the crowd. 

INTERACTIVE:

FIELD AGENTS encourage patients to join the war by handing them a ray gun and putting them on their shoulders to participate in the dogfight and snatch the last can of oil.
